I've been working on this screenplay since October and just finished the final draft tonight. It wasn't easy to make (I haven't even played Thief since 2004) but I'm very pleased with the result. If you'd like to read it post an email address and I'll send the PDF.
Thief.rar.

:suspect:
Colambia Pictures, New Line Cinema, Worner Bross, Universal, 20-th C Fox? :o

V Raptor

[off]Unusually thick snowfall coming down last days and nights came to a halt. There was no more chill thrilling northern wind biting till bones; big snowflakes were slowly and graciously falling down at the tops of the huge snowdrifts. The City didn't experience such a winter for the last forty-fifty years or so. The yard-keepers, street cleaners, caretakers, servants and domestics were busily shoveling the snow aside.
This night weather turned out extremely, exceptionally good: cloudless and starlit. It was great for the dreamers, for those who are ceased by the idea that they could stretch out their hands, jump up and easily touch the starry sky with their finger tips. Endless web netted from the stars was stretched out above the horizon everywhere where the eye could reach. Glaringly shining, blinking... Here, at the Ocean coast at night, the Southern Cross, constellation of the sails men, seemed to be the brightest. Unrealistic light of the young moon made the plains and hills around glitter like polished silver. Imagination advised that the magic is soaring up in the air. To extend this night, to make it never-ending, to dissolve in it, to forget the vanity of vanities, to listen to the music of the Ocean waves – that was the only desire.
Garrett was standing at the very edge of the cliff for a long time fascinated by this view: the ice cold Ocean was storming the rocky bottom of the mountain; the bright moon sickle was hanging above amidst innumerable stars as if the cut of the sky tissue; few ships could be barely seen far away in the remote semi transparency of this night. Infrequent snowflakes were evenly falling down resembling the particles of the stars. Mirage, delusion, miracle; on the other hand, no one knows what's on Trickster's mind on a night like this...
The thief shake his head to get rid of numbness. He was really sorry for those who were currently indoors sitting at the sultriness and thus unable to enjoy these splendid wonders of nature.
The morose silhouette of the Redcliffs castle loomed black at the sky background: old fashioned, but gracefully refined. Uneven ashlar of the wall natural stones changed its color into bluish matching this night lights; it looked as if the castle got chilled following the weather changes. Garrett tracked no guards on duty neither on the fortress walls, nor on the roof of the main building – most probably the hostess gave an abrogative order and the outposts were temporarily lifted because of the first days of the winter considered to be the holidays eagerly celebrated by all. What a delight for the thief. Glassed-in windows were brightly lit. It meant that the corridors were full of light as well, and it could make the indoor transference more complicated. More attentive look – these lights are yellowish and swaying – no doubt, they are coming from the torches. They can be easily blown down - the stock of water crystals is good.
Garrett reached the Redcliffs from the Ocean side. There were many windows here, much more than elsewhere in the castle. The chance for successful penetration was pretty high. The castle was not too big, no. Actually, it was a well planned stylish mansion surrounded by the fence like fortress wall. Everywhere, except of the main building Ocean view side. Three storied main building was crowned by two towers, it has the basin on the bottom, adjacent stables, a little inner yard with the fountain and a few apple trees – winter garden. That's it.
The thief pulled strangely looking gloves on, namely, the climbing gloves, jumped up, touched the wall by the palms and firmly adhered here. He found the pit in the uneven ashlar of the wall by the toe of his right boot to get the third point of support. Then he pulled his right hand away from the wall and adhered it slightly higher; it was the turn of the left hand... This is how ascending upon the slippery vertical wall began. He had chosen the southern wall of the castle facing the Ocean because it was not patrolled. No one was ever expecting intruders from this craggy side. It was their mistake... [/off]

 :undecided:
